I Was Born Late, That's Why I PROCRASTINATE!

Sorry girls, I know I've been ghost for a while! I just have been caught up with other things and I keep telling myself to put up a new post but..... it never happened as you can see. Anyways, to help myself bounce back from a few weeks of going MIA, I came up with a cute idea for this new post.

Graphic tees are such a great way to make a statement because of their bold prints, colors, and words. My favorite type of graphic tees are the ones that say funny things on it. It is definitely a conversation starter to anyone you pass by and they give your outfit a touch of your own personality. Graphic tees go great with a pair of jeans with a cropped blazer. Make sure you don't hide the graphic tho so you can show it off!

Crazydogtshirts.com is the #1 site where you can find the best graphic tees. They have so many funny tees and you'll just want to add them all in your shopping cart! Go check them out :)

Sheer Genius

I spotted this one trend in my magazine today that literally caught my eye. I find this look to be very sexy as it appears to seem like you're wearing lingerie as outerwear. This might become my favorite trend because I absolutely am a fan of lace and this sexy twist is a plus!

Lingerie-inspired clothing is now making its way out on fashion runways and have been capturing us with its utmost sultriness. It is intended to create a bedroom style into a fashion statement that calls out for attention. What's so great about this trend is that YOU determine just about how much you want to reveal. This style is definitely NOT intended to expose all your goodies, but to subtly show them off in a very feminine way.

These sexy form-flattering corsets or dresses allow you to improve your posture and look extra confident in them. An easy way to try this look is to wear an all black lace corset and layer a silky black blazer over it. Wear this with a tight pencil skirt or high-waisted pants. You wont show off too much but what is showing will be just right. Pair this outfit with lots of diamonds or pearls too to top it off.

Stares and Stripes

Fourth of July is just a few days away!

What a great way to celebrate with stripes! The classic sailor look is a common look for this day, and it seems to never get old for me. This nautical trend consists of the key elements of red or blue stripes, white or off white, and hints of gold. Stripes in general are my favorite because they do so much for an outfit and create a statement without having to try hard. Although this trend is pretty retro, it still feels so brand new to me.
A great way to look fab this coming Fourth of July is to play up these elements. A simple look to try is to start off with a simple navy blue and white striped shirt with a wide neckline. Pair them up with your favorite denim shorts. Dress up the outfit with long gold chains (Go for some that have a sailor charms), bangles with hints of red, and off white flats. Red lipstick is also a plus to top it off ;)

The fireworks wont be the only things shining that night!

A Beautiful Disaster

I remember the very first time I saw a pair of bleached denim I was so shocked, in a bad way. I just couldn't even figure out how I could potentially make them look good. They just seem to be a little "too much".
Well I do have to admit, they've finally rubbed off on me! I can look at them now and see all of the possibilities to make a great look out of them. The key to making bleached denim fashionable is to match them with very simple neutral colors. They say so much just by themselves, therefore all they need is just a little accent color to balance it out. Depending on which denim color you get, try pairing them with colors like black, tan, brown, and white. It's ok to use other colors but make sure you don't add anything too bright to your outfit because the jeans are already the "wow" factor- you don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention.
Two trendy styles you can create with these are a South-Western look, using tans and browns to go along with the distressed jeans. Or you can go with a Rebel look, pairing with with black and lots of chains and studs.

From Paris With Love...

One trend I am absolutely having fun trying out is the classic Parisian look. Dark colors, fine laces, floral patterns, and lots of pearls. A combination of these elements create such a sophisticated look that screams out glamour.
This look is very versatile and can be used either day or night. I prefer night because the dark colors are very posh and will definitely attract every ones attention. Try this look and you'll be feeling tres tres chic!

Tread-Setter

Ok ladies, don't we all love to be the first to try a new style and watch everyone else follow along? Why not start with wearing bike shorts? Yes, bike shorts, and this time you wont be wearing them to ride down the park.

Bike shorts have been in and out in the fashion scene for a while now, so this is a great time to bring them back out and pair them with some of the new trends of the season. To me, I prefer to use them as a layering piece. They are such a quick way to transform any outfit into a more edgier look. Here are a few ways you can use your bike shorts.

Wear them under your favorite jean shorts. This will add a little edge as they subtly sneak out. Distressed jeans are a plus when pairing them together and also wearing boots will top off the look.

Layer a long tunic over them. This look is a great way to transition out of the common long leggings, especially when you're trying to fight the summer heat. These shorter leggings will show off your legs and make them appear much sleeker too. Try this look with lots of accessories to personalize the outfit.

Wear them under a dress. Now that the bike shorts are back, they have upgraded them a bit by making them with special textures. A pair of sheer lace bike shorts will go well under a short summer dress. Pair this outfit with some cute flats for a look that will last from day to night.

Get Ready...Jet Set...Go!

Summer nights call for lots of glamour!

The most luxurious style trend to try out during a warm summer evening is the Riviera chic. This jet-set style is so glamorous and gives such a sophisticated look. It consists of using key elements such as champagne beige, gold and black accents, and exotic animal prints. Draping materials also are a plus to this style.

For a hot summer evening look, pair a champagne colored dress and accessorize it with over-sized shades, a black animal printed clutch, and lots of gold jewelry. You'll look like you just hopped out of a yatch and straight to the dance floor!

A Perfect Ten

Brighten up this summer with neon fingertips!
One of the trends to try this season is bright neons, so with that said, painting your fingertips with an eye-popping color is a great way to start off. It is a subtle way for those who do not want to do "too much" and it also shows off your perky personality at the same time. I absolutely love bright nail polish no matter what season it is. So when it is in, I go all out! Some great colors to try out are neon green, hot pink, bright orange, and a loud yellow. What's so good about bright nail polish is that they go so well with any skin tone. You don't have to worry about making a fool out of yourself, instead you'll be making a bold statement!
A cool summer trick to try out is to mix and match colors. For example, paint your ring finger a different color to add more spunk your manicure.

I Like Your Boyfriend...Shirt!

Want to get stylish in under 5 minutes?

The boyfriend shirt is the perfect alternative to glam up for those in a rush. It is simple to throw on and can be dressed up with your favorite accessories. This style is mixed with a masculine silhouette with a touch of chic femininity.

There are many ways to wear this buttoned-down shirt. You can wear it alone, along with a chunky belt to cinch the waist to flatter your shape. This way is great for this season because it can be used as a summer dress. Pair this look with stylish strappy sandals for head-to-toe glam. Another way to wear it is to layer it over dark denim skinnys. This is more of a tomboy-ish style but can be very chic at the same time. Add jeweled bracelets, a long necklace, and a fedora to top this trend off.

Hopefully the boys wont mind that we're borrowing this trend and making it look so much better!

The Pack is Back!

When you think of a fanny pack, you immediately envision a tourist wearing it and filling it up with traveler's information and digital cameras. Not too many people are fond of such an accessory but it has finally made its comeback and it is more chic-er than ever! Gucci has created this fann-, excuse me, this waist bag which is just like a fanny pack but much cuter. I can actually picture myself wearing this out in public without shame. What makes this waist bag so perfect is the fact that the colors are pretty versatile and would go with most of your wardrobe. It also doesn't have such a bulky look: each pack is pretty small and lies flat on your waist. Last but not least, it's GUCCI! I wouldn't turn it down for nothing. So if you're looking for a small bag to take out without worrying about bulkiness or annoying straps, this waist bag will be a great investment. The standard retail price for this is $425.00

I want one!!

Release Your Inhibitions

For some, there's nothing more daring than to walk out wearing an eye catching piece with bold prints. If that pertains to you, get ready to take a fashion leap of faith and put on the most captivating piece you can possibly think of!
Bold prints are a MUST HAVE this season. They are literally "popping" out of every store you walk into. With a wide range of selections starting from geometric to animal and even floral, these prints are bound to liven up your wardrobe this summer. What makes this trend so popular is that it makes such a big impression which we all wont mind, right? It'll take just one bold item to make your whole outfit stand out from a distance. It shows off your sense of style and also lets everyone know you're not afraid to make a scene.
If you are a little hesitant to wear such prints, you can always start off with subtle items such as scarves or tops with patterned hems, instead of going all out with a top completely covered with the print. Just a tiny bit of it will be enough to turn heads!

Here's a dress I found on Lulus.com that I fell in love with. The tribal print (my absolute fave) stands out and could be dressed up with bright accessories.
